IS INDIVIDUAL ACTION ENOUGH TO SAVE THE PLANET?

Students explore the tension between individual and collective responsibility in addressing climate change. They are encouraged to present both sides and state their own opinion with evidence from their daily life.

1. IS INDIVIDUAL ACTION ENOUGH TO SAVE THE PLANET?

Global warming and climate change are real phenomena that affect our planet. Global warming is mainly caused by human activities and contributes to climate change. Although it is difficult to reverse, we can reduce its effects if we act now. For this reason, you should be a change agent.

These problems damage the environment. They increase temperatures, cause the melting of glaciers, and affect agriculture and ecosystems.

You can be part of the solution. Promote simple actions such as:

  • saving energy
  • reusing paper
  • recycling materials and
  • using reusable products.

Small changes can make a big difference!

2. IS INDIVIDUAL ACTION ENOUGH TO SAVE THE PLANET?

In this blog, I want to talk about important topics because they are problems that affect our habits and the whole world. We need to find solutions to these issues. The first problem is global warming.

This topic is about how the temperature increases over time, and this problem is mainly caused by human activities. Unlike climate change, global warming has many secondary consequences. For example, we can see the melting of glaciers and more frequent heavy rains in different parts of the world.

In my opinion, these problems affect our health and the lives of future generations. We must take action now so our grandchildren can enjoy a safe and healthy place to live.
